Because... well, I don't have any major reason. It's the internetz, that's all! I will add just about anyone who seems nice if they add me first. I haven't made a friends-cut or anything like that.

Oh, the other friends filters are still open if you're interested: Spirit is existential musings, Novel is where I blab about my writing, WoW Rambles is about my nerd-tacular adventures in Azeroth, Furry is for... furry shit, aaaaand TMI is about TMI stuff. They are exactly what they sound like.

I will warn EVERYONE that although I am somewhat "spiritual" what with the therianthropy and all, I am primarily a non-theist and a skeptic. Outspoken and proud about it, too!

I guess I just want a li'l more privacy now that I'm posting more private things.

Happy New Year!

To celebrate 2012, I'm going to open for some more freebie graphite (pencil) doodles! Comment here for a chance. Not everyone is guaranteed a doodle, and I love to pick original and different characters if I can! Comment with a CLEAN ref.

These will be a little different though:

~ I'm going to post my PayPal address. If you feel like tossing a donation my way, great! Any amount is plenty. If you donate, you will be guaranteed SOMETHING!
~ If 10 people donate, I will ink all donation doodles!
~ If 15 people donate, I will COLOR all donation doodles!

Remember that PayPal likes to eat some of the money for the fee, so please keep that in mind when choosing an amount. Also keep in mind that I'm primarily a furry/anthro artist, so doodles of people might be of yucky quality.

Donations can be sent to stormbringercoyote@gmail.com .

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Edit: Whoops! Should mention that you should tell me who you are in the PayPal note.

Hey guys! As most of you know I'm a sucker for big, angry, snarly werewolves and that I've been collecting the many, many books for the White Wolf game Werewolf: The Apocalypse for years and years. Sadly they are all out of print. White Wolf has moved on to a new Werewolf setting and I really don't like it.

THAT SAID, I am willing to buy or do art trades for any old W:TA books you might have. I don't mind if they're damaged somewhat, as long as the covers and all the pages are intact and not smelly.

I'm willing to grab just about anything that I DON'T have already, with particular interest in Tribesbooks and Changing Breeds books. I'm mainly looking for revised or 2nd edition rulesets, but I'm willing to take 1st editions if that's all I can get.

Currently I have:
Werewolf Core Rulebook
The Art of Werewolf: The Apocalypse
The Storyteller's Companion
The Dark Ages
Apocalypse
Umbra
Hammer and Klaive
Tribesbook: Children of Gaia
Tribesbook: Silver Fangs
Tribesbook: Uktena
Tribesbook: Wendigo
Tribesbook: Stargazers
Book of the Wyrm
Changing Breeds: Bastet
Changing Breeds: Nuwisha
Changing Breeds: Corax
Changing Breeds: Ratkin
Changing Breeds: Rokea
Changing Breeds: Hengeyokai

I'll take anything else... seriously. I'm not crazy about the Mind's Eye Theater books, but I'll take 'em if they interest me enough.

WE ARE DONE!

Tim is officially a permanent resident of Canada!

Like, DONE-DONE. No more paperwork, we just have to wait for his card to arrive and set up his Medicare.

I'm open once again for Cutie Poops sets! It's been a while since I've opened for commissions period, since I've gone back to working full-time. But I've decided to start saving for a fursuit, and this is a good way to do it!

For the base price of $5.00 + shipping you get an adorable charm made in the Cutie Poop style, mounted on your choice of a magnet, cell phone charm strap or a key-chain PLUS a transparent icon of your Cutie Poop's head.

You all should do this too!

Having some people over tonight for drinks and such. Should be fun! It's kind of a house-warming thing, I guess!

Sorry about the lack of updates! I'll post something tonight, I swear! Things are going well. :)

One quick note to Animaritime peeps... we WILL NOT be at the convention on Friday. That day is booked solid with vacation on my team, so I have to work! Oh well. We will be there on Saturday and Sunday all day. I'm just waiting to hear back from the AA coordinator about a possible refund on my table for Friday, if possible.

And with that, I run to work.

I know everyone is sick to death of reading over how amazing Brian Jacques was, but I saw this on SA (Goons love BJ, apparently) and I have to share it because it just shows how awesome a man he was:

I met Jacques when I was 12, about 19 years ago. I was deep in that phase where you read the Redwall books over and over and nothing else...I'd probably read all the released books in the series about five times each at that point. He was at a book signing, and I grabbed up by books and went and waited in line.

He was amazing. Took time out for everyone, was incredibly kind, just a great guy. When I got to the front of the line I had so many questions I wanted to ask, but of course I lost the ability to talk as soon as I was in front of him. He gently asked my name, and when I told him he went off on this awesome story about an old ship's captain who'd had my name and some awesome stuff he'd done and that was why I had a great name. I didn't hear most of it, as I was totally starstruck and couldn't believe he was talking to me.

So I hand over my books, and as I do I realize that they're really dirty and torn and used, the spines all bent and creased as I'd read them like five times each. Most of the other kids there had bought new copies at the bookstore that day, but I was broke as fuck so there was no way I could afford that. So as I hand them over I mumble an apology about how they're so crappy and broken, and he got this look in his eyes that I'll never forget...He looked really touched. He told me that these were the best ones he'd seen that day, because he could tell that I really loved them. Of course, that kicked my little 12 year old ass all over the place, and I went from embarassed to happier than shit.

He was great. Rest in peace.
